Modus already belongs for thirteen years in the most important producers of lighting fittings and components in Czech Republic.
In year 2006 the company owners has resolved upon so far the largest investment and both into modern technology and to new premises for moving of manufacturing plant, which is now limited by current conditions for efficient development.

In technology area MODUS invests into purchase of the most up to date manufacturing machinery like i.e. modern varnishing and painting line, cut out and automatic punching machine FINNPOWER, forming machine Salvagnini, dedicated computer-controled automatic machines for manufacturing of optic systems, laser machines and others, which allow achievement of requested quality and speed of product fabrication. MODUS will strengthen its own technologic-development dept. also in the future and at the same time far more develop cooperation with universities (in Plzeň and Liberec).

The wider involvement of IT into process management will take place in our company. Successfully we have implemented new complex information system. We have launched company intranet and established more efficient document-flow inside our company. Our web prezentation is changing in a whole particularly the purpose and the objective of it toward active integration and participation of our clients and public with us.

Modus will increase the accent on sales support yet more there we will offre to our clients complex servis from offers to processing of lighting-technical projects and consulting. Generally it is possible to say that present and incoming tasks of company are aimed on achievement of the utmost quality and effectiveness of all processes with target to present to the clients products and services of the highest quality.

We strive to help

We carry on in the effort to create jobs for our handicapped fellow-citizens and by that we don't only fulfil our liabilities but also we help our fellow-citizens to find active development in life.

Since 1997 we have been supporting (by finance and products) both sport and culture and civil associations that need help. Among our partners belongs Life without barriers (Život bez bariér), Chilren help centre (Dětské centrum včasné pomoci) or Social care and youngster Institution Trnice (Ústav sociální péče a mládeže Trnice.

We give support to sport activities through TJ Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou or TJ Sokol Jinočany.

MODUS Co. and its relation to environment

Our company in development of new lighting fittings is above all focusing on enhancement and improvement of lighting fittings energy efficiency and also we are aiming on decreasing of manufacturing process energy demandingness according to anticipated Czech governement proposal - supposing 20% increase of energy efficiency.

These steps are necessary also with regard to alarming results of Paris conference on climate changing and sequent upon it necessary precautions and actions for keeping of environment stability.
